1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Telugu People Matrimony collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile app and related services .

2. Information we may collect

• Google Sign-In: if selected, Google may provide your name, email, profile image, and a unique account identifier, subject to the permissions shown. We do not receive your Google password.
• Matrimonial profile: details you choose to provide, such as profile type, gender, age/date of birth, education, occupation, location, family details, preferences, and biography.
• Horoscope details: if provided, date, time, and place of birth and related horoscope information.
• Photos and content: profile photos, messages, and other content you submit, if those features are available.
• Technical data: app version, device type, operating system, IP address, diagnostic and crash logs, where collected by us or our providers.
• Support messages: information you provide when contacting us.

Only retain the categories that your app actually collects.

3. How we use information

We may use information to create and manage accounts; operate profiles, search, matching and communication features; provide horoscope-related features; respond to support requests; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain and improve the Services; and comply with legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

• Other users: profile details and photos you choose to publish may be visible to other users according to app settings and features.
• Service providers: hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, notifications, support, and security providers that help operate the Services.
• Legal and safety: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect users and the Services.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Google Sign-In

If you use Google Sign-In, authentication is handled through Google's services. We use information returned to us to authenticate your account and provide the app. Google's practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can review third-party access at Google Account permissions.

6. Retention and account deletion

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements.

In-app account deletion: Users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data directly from within the Telugu People Matrimony app using the account deletion option available in the app settings. Once a deletion request is submitted, we will process it and delete the associated account information, except where certain information must be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

Alternative deletion request: Users can also request account and associated data deletion by emailing profilematcher2024@gmail.com from their registered email address with the subject "Account and data deletion request". We may request reasonable verification.

Some information may be retained where legally required. Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are overwritten or deleted according to our backup retention process.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

8. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information.

9. Your choices and rights

You may update profile information through available app settings. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information by contacting us.

10. International processing and third parties

Our service providers may process information in other locations. Third-party services linked from the app are governed by their own privacy policies.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a revised version here and changing the “Last updated” date. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
